Kilimanjaro · Lemosho Route · Luxury
The full 7-day Lemosho route, upgraded with ensuite mountain tents, a private chef, and walk-in beds — comfort at altitude, without cutting the itinerary short.
Overview
This is our standard 7-day Lemosho route — the same proven itinerary across the Shira Plateau, Lava Tower, and the Barranco Wall — upgraded throughout with our luxury mountain camp: spacious walk-in tents with real beds, private ensuite toilet tents, a dedicated chef preparing restaurant-quality meals, and a private dining tent each evening.
It suits climbers who want to arrive at the summit well-rested, having slept properly and eaten well every night on the mountain.
Every climb is led by our senior local guides, supported by a well-cared-for crew, and carries emergency oxygen and daily health checks.

Trip highlights
Day by day
Registration at Londorossi Gate, then a gentle climb through dense western rainforest to Mti Mkubwa, where your luxury camp is already set up and waiting.
The forest thins into moorland as you climb toward the edge of the Shira Plateau, with the summit visible for the first time as you arrive at camp for dinner.
A gentler day crossing the vast, otherworldly Shira Plateau, with Kibo’s summit dominating the skyline ahead.
A key acclimatization day: climb high to Lava Tower (4,630m) for lunch, then descend to sleep lower at Barranco Camp, beneath the dramatic Barranco Wall.
The day starts with the iconic Barranco Wall scramble, then a shorter day to Karanga Camp for a well-earned rest and a proper hot meal.
A steady climb to Barafu, the summit base camp. You rest in comfort through the afternoon and evening — because tonight, you climb.
You set off around midnight for Stella Point and on to Uhuru Peak for sunrise. After summit photos, you descend all the way through Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate for your certificate and hotel transfer.
The details
Good to know
Real beds, ensuite tents, and a dedicated chef — the terrain and altitude are the same, but recovery each night is far better.
The dry seasons — January to March and June to October — offer the clearest, most reliable conditions.
Twice-daily health checks, emergency oxygen, and the same acclimatization pacing as every climb we run.
You still need proper cold-weather gear for summit night — comfort in camp doesn’t change what you need on the summit push.
Secure your dates and let us handle the rest.
Questions
Spacious walk-in tents with real beds instead of ground mats, a private ensuite toilet tent at every camp, and a dedicated chef preparing fresh meals — all on the same proven 7-day Lemosho route.
No — the trail, altitude, and distances are identical to our standard Lemosho route. The upgrade is entirely about comfort and recovery in camp, not the difficulty of the trek.
